Shared Book Reading is a reading practice for adults to use when reading to a single child or group of children that is designed to enhance language and literacy skills as well as the appreciation of books among preschool children.
The Shared Book Reading program has not yet been thoroughly reviewed by PPN, but preliminary review suggests it may be effective at improving outcomes for the indicators listed above.
