Program Overview

Reading Mastery is a direct instruction program that aims to provide students in kindergarten through grade 6 with explicit and systematic instruction in English language reading. The program offers fast-paced and interactive lessons and includes placement assessment and a continuous monitoring system.

The Reading Mastery program has not yet been thoroughly reviewed by PPN, but preliminary review suggests it may be effective at improving outcomes for the indicators listed above.
