Growing Healthy is a comprehensive health education curriculum that seeks to teach life skills and physical health to students in kindergarten through grade 6. The program teaches several core elements to help children resist social pressures to smoke and to use alcohol and other drugs.
The Growing Healthy program has not yet been thoroughly reviewed by PPN, but preliminary review suggests it may be effective at improving outcomes for the indicators listed above.
