Family Matters is a family-based intervention program delivered through four booklets mailed to the home and follow-up telephone calls by health educators. The program seeks to reduce tobacco and alcohol use among young adolescents ages 12 to 14.
The Family Matters program has not yet been thoroughly reviewed by PPN, but preliminary review suggests it may be effective at improving outcomes for the indicators listed above.
