Dialogic Reading aims to enhance language and literacy skills among preschool children through the practice of an adult and child sharing a picture book and taking turns being the storyteller or an active listener and questioner.
The Dialogic Reading program has not yet been thoroughly reviewed by PPN, but preliminary review suggests it may be effective at improving outcomes for the indicators listed above.
